I don't require anything particularly powerful for my personal computing. My personal laptop is a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, and my daily driver is an Asus Chromebox 3. Both my personal Chromebox and my work laptop are plugged into a CableMatters USB-C switch, and the switch is plugged into the dock. All the peripherals are plugged directly into the dock.
